Living in Nashville, I often find myself at concerts I would never have thought of going to, and rarely do I leave with anything less than a greater appreciation for the talent in this city. I'm beyond grateful that I have connected with a great brand like Old Dominick who invites me out to capture their concert series here in town.

If you're not a soccer fan, think of being on a football field with the Patriots and the Cowboys. It was quite exciting to see Nashville show up in record numbers as two heavy hitting teams from England came to the Music City.

Read MoreAfter getting to help Relient K create an album cover for their latest album, Air For Free, the Matts invited me out to help capture their live performance at the historic Ryman Auditorium. The light was rough and the angles were difficult, but the performance was captivating. After almost 20 years, Relient K's lyrical vulnerability has created a real connection between the band and their fans, and the emotion of the audience during these performances are palpable. It was a joy to capture how much fun they have, like doing a push up and jumping jack on the stage, or just the countless number of smiles on the faces of the audience.
